A contemplative event production by artist Sebastian Errazuriz through a stream that projects the Earth in real time from space. This work is an echo of the famous "Blue Marble" photo taken during the last Apollo 17 lunar mission.
Sebastian Errazuriz honors this iconic photograph by bringing it to life with a monumental outdoor sculpture that broadcasts a live video of the Earth via a NASA satellite: "blu Marble". Mazarine New York has demonstrated a 360° level of expertise in making this art project visible both on the Lower East Side and on the facade of the New Museum.
For the inauguration, Mazarine held a private launch at Galerie Richard Taittinger featuring the artist and an exhibition documenting the project.
